Splash in the Class presentations are a fun way to teach your
students how to take care of their local environment. These
interactive presentations are designed for grades 3 – 6 and last
about 60 minutes. Thanks to the sponsorship of the Sacramento Stormwater
Quality Partnership and the City of Sacramento
Department of Utilities, these engaging presentations are
FREE.
Splash presenters cover the aquatic food chain and pollution
prevention using colorful graphics, videos, and a fun
experiment. Students learn about the importance of local
creeks and rivers in our lives, how some of our everyday
activities can cause water pollution, and what each of us can do
to become the solution to pollution!
