Splash in the Class: Sacramento County

Overview

Splash in the Class

August 24, 2009

Splash in the Class presentations are a fun way to teach your students how to take care of their local environment. These interactive presentations are designed for grades 3 – 6 and last about 60 minutes. Thanks to the sponsorship of the Sacramento Stormwater Quality Partnership and the City of Sacramento Department of Utilities, these engaging presentations are FREE.

Splash presenters cover the aquatic food chain and pollution prevention using colorful graphics, videos, and a fun experiment. Students learn about the importance of local creeks and rivers in our lives, how some of our everyday activities can cause water pollution, and what each of us can do to become the solution to pollution!

In 17 years, this engaging program has inspired nearly 70,000 Sacramento area students to lend a hand in protecting local water quality.  If you would like your students to learn how they can help keep our water clean, SIGN UP FOR YOUR PRESENTATION today!
