Splash in the Class presentations are a fun way to teach your
students how to protect water and habitat where they live. These
60-minute presentations are designed especially for Grades 4 and
5 and are FREE to eligible classes, thanks to sponsorship by the
El Dorado County Stormwater Program. A limited number of
presentations will be offered on a first-come, first-served
basis.
The Splash presenter will introduce your students to their local
watershed via videos, an experiment, and colorful graphics.
The class will learn how their everyday activities can impact the
quality of water in local streams.
Students also discover that these streams support a whole
ecosystem of species that, like us, need clean water to live.
When they learn simple ways to protect water quality, they become
the solution to stormwater pollution.
Splash in the Class has already inspired nearly 70,000 students
to protect water and habitat where they live. If you want your
students to learn how they can help keep our water clean,
