Schedule Your Splash in the Class Presentations

To schedule a Splash in the Class presentation in your classroom, please fill out the form below. Our program coordinator will normally respond to your request within 3 days.

Thank you!  We look forward to spending time with you and your students very soon!

Please select the date you would like us to visit your school. If we’re already booked with presentations on the date you select, we will notify you so you may choose an alternate date. We like to do two or three presentations at any school we visit. If we do three presentations per visit, we try to do two in the morning (on either side of morning recess) and then one in the afternoon right after lunch. Each presentation requires a 70-minute block of time. We also need at least 10-15 minutes between presentations to move our materials to the next classroom and set up again. So, please check with your colleagues to see if they also would like to schedule a presentation on the same day as yours. If you have more than three classes that would like presentations, we can visit your school on multiple days to accommodate everybody, just fill out another form for each additional date.

:

Each presentation requires a 70-minute block of time. This gives us enough time to cover all the material, keep the students engaged, complete the fun activities, and conduct a brief assessment of student knowledge before and after the presentation, using iClickers. We also need 10-15 minutes between presentations to get all of our materials to the next classroom and set up again.

Please include first name AND last name.

We set a maximum of one class (about 35 students) per presentation to ensure that all the students get to come up and participate in the activities. Each student will receive some goodies so we want to make sure we have enough for each of your students.
