Schedule Your Splash in the Class Presentations

Treat your students to a fun and educational classroom experience!  Splash-in-the-Class presentations are an engaging, hands-on way to teach 3rd – 6th grade students about stormwater quality and how they can be the solution to stormwater pollution.

Please fill out the form below. Our program coordinator will normally confirm your presentations within 3 days.

Thank you!  We look forward to spending time with you and your students very soon!

Please select the date you would like us to visit your school. If we’re already booked with presentations on the date you select, we will notify you so you may choose an alternate date. We like to do two or three presentations at any school we visit. If we do three presentations per visit, we try to do two in the morning (on either side of morning recess) and then one in the afternoon right after lunch. So, please check with your colleagues to see if they also would like to schedule a presentation on the same day as yours. If you have more than three classes that would like presentations, we can visit your school on multiple days to accommodate everybody, just fill out another of these forms for the other date(s).

:

Each presentation requires a 60-minute block of time. This gives us enough time to cover all the material, keep the kids involved throughout, and complete the activities contained within the program. We also need at least 10-15 minutes between presentations to get all of our materials to the next classroom and set up.

Please include first name AND last name.

We set a maximum of one class (about 35 students) per presentation to ensure that all the students get to come up and participate in the activities. Each student will receive some goodies following the presentation, including a Sammy Salmon pencil and tattoo.
