Greg Suba, Curriculum Developer

Greg has worked with Splash since 2000. He is an aquatic biologist with over 20 years of professional experience as a research scientist and field biologist in marine, littoral, forest, and riparian ecosystems.

His favorite vernal pool critter is the Western Meadowlark and he defies anyone to stand alone in the vernal pool prairie listening to their song and not fall in love. His favorite vernal pool flower is Fremont's Tidy-tips.

During the past 10 years, Greg has coordinated watershed projects with schools and community groups throughout Sacramento, El Dorado, and Placer counties. He is dedicated to raising the ecological literacy of communities through education and stewardship.

Greg holds a B.S. in Biology from Duke University and a M.S. in Marine Sciences from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill. He also holds a Professional Clear Credential for teaching in California and taught high school science for 5 years in Sacramento County. When not sloshing through creeks, Greg enjoys sharing music with others and proving to his wife and two daughters that being a nerd is cool.

Meet Rosie Robles, Splash Club Volunteer

Rosie volunteers to help coordinate and recruit for Splash Club meetings. She spreads the word about upcoming Splash Club meetings to her friends, co-workers, and people at her church. This may not seem like much, but telling your friends about Splash is one of the most important things you can do to help.
