Meet Our Donors

Meet Our Donors

This is our small way of acknowledging the amazing people and organizations that make Splash possible.  A million thanks for your generosity and your commitment to providing all children with the opportunity to learn and play in natural places.

The Water Quality Consortium

In 1999, a consortium of agencies joined together to create Splash to improve local water quality through education. The Splash Consortium is comprised of the:

Sacramento Regional County Sanitation District
Sacramento County Department of Water Resources
City of Sacramento Department of Utilities

Teichert Aggregates

A generous contribution of labor and materials from Teichert Aggregates converted a weedy landscape at the Splash Education Center into our attractive native plant garden. Because it requires little water, no fertilizer, and no mowing, Teichert has helped us reduce our contribution of pollutants to the environment and our reliance on water and energy.

Meet Lucie Adams. Volunteer Gardener

Lucie helps Splash maintain the water-wise gardens that surrounds the Splash Education Center. In all types of weather, Lucie can be found in the garden, pulling weeds and planting seeds!

Open a child's eyes to a whole new world

Urban children have few opportunities to experience the wonders of nature.

9 out of 10 Splash teachers say that exploring the outdoors was a new experience for their students.
